Description
SM Code Generator is a program for Delphi developers who want to use the Socket Messaging library without typing a single line of code.
The Socket Messaging library is based on IP sockets through the standard classes supplied with Delphi. It is operational on the platforms targeted by its compilers (macOS, Windows, iOS, Android and Linux to date).
SM Code Generator lets you define a client/server API by describing the messages to be exchanged between a server and its clients. The program then exports this interface in the form of a Delphi unit containing a list of the messages exchanged and preparing a class for the clients and a class for the server.
This is a big time-saver for any Delphi developer who wants to get to grips with client-server without having to worry about the network layer or the exchange protocol. The underlying library does the job for them!
Of course, you don't have to use SM Code Generator. You can also do it all by hand...
